Sustainably Managing Solid & Hazardous Industrial Waste

The Tamil Nadu government has allocated 25 acres of land for the Integrated Common Hazardous/Bio-Medical Waste Management Facility. RSIWMSL has constructed a double-liner composite system landfill to dispose of the landfillable waste. In addition, an AFRF and BMW facility has been constructed to dispose of the waste. RSIWMSL has received the necessary environmental clearances, including EC, CTE, and CTO, for operations within the facility. Specifically, the CTO has been granted for the following operations in Phase-I:

–    Direct Landfill Waste – 83 TPD
–    Landfill After Treatment Waste – 166 TPD
–    Alternative Fuel and Raw Material Waste – 83 TPD
–    Common Bio-Medical Waste Treatment and Disposal facility-Incinerator (Primary and Secondary) – 1.55 TPD
