Hyderabad: The municipal administration and urban development (MAUD) minister KT Rama Rao flagged off 1,350 swachh auto tippers (SATs) at Sanathnagar today. The new SAT vehicles will cover the newly formed areas. Each tipper can carry 1.5 metric tonnes of waste.

Efforts towards Sustainability Development further strengthened with the launch of the “Clean city Mobile App”.The app has been developed by Delhi MSW Solutions (a Ramky Enviro subsidiary) & North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC).

Hyderabad: MA&UD minister K.T. Rama Rao on Monday called on people to keep the city clean after flagging-off 1,350 Swatcch tipper autos at Sanathnagar playground. With this, GHMC will now have 4,500 Swachh autos at its disposal. Rao said that the corporation has been winning Swachh Sarvekshan awards regularly.

The award was given to Ramky Enviro for the pioneering and impactful work done by them in setting standards and examples of how to responsibly manage and recycle plastic waste.

Hyderabad: The State government’s proposal for more waste to energy plants has been approved by the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.

The minister was speaking while flagging off 1,350 Swachh Auto Tippers (SATs) at Sanathnagar. The new SAT vehicles will cover the newly formed areas. Each tipper can carry 1.5 metric tonnes of waste. A total of 4,500 SAT vehicles were provided by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation under the Driver-cum-owner Scheme.

Earlier, a total of 4,500 SAT vehicles were provided by the GHMC under driver- cum-owner scheme.
