Objective: The Project Head will be responsible for end-to-end execution of a specific sanitary waste management project/cluster in Kerala awarded under CKCL tenders. The role focuses on compliant operations, plant O&M, logistics execution, stakeholder coordination, and people management, ensuring delivery of all contractual KPIs and SLAs.
Key Accountabilities
- Project Execution & Service Delivery: • Manage day-to-day collection, transportation, processing, and disposal of sanitary waste as per CKCL tender requirements. • Ensure adherence to service-level agreements, coverage targets, and response timelines. • Coordinate field operations including supervisors, collection teams, drivers, and plant staff.
- Collection & Logistics Management: • Plan and monitor vehicle deployment, routing, GPS tracking, and manpower utilization. • Ensure safe handling, temporary storage, and transportation of sanitary waste. • Control operational costs related to fuel, fleet maintenance, and consumables.
- Plant Operations & Maintenance: • Oversee operations of incinerators and associated treatment facilities. • Ensure compliance with approved operating parameters, emission norms, and safety requirements. • Implement preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate with OEMs/vendors.
- Compliance & Statutory Documentation: • Ensure strict compliance with BMW Rules, CPCB/KSPCB guidelines, and contract conditions. • Maintain statutory records, manifests, logbooks, and MIS reports. • Support inspections, audits, and compliance reporting to authorities
- Stakeholder Coordination & Government Interface: • Liaise with Municipalities, Panchayats, CKCL representatives, and Pollution Control Board officials. • Address operational issues, inspection observations, and community concerns. • Support awareness programs and citizen engagement initiatives at the project level.
- People Management & Safety: • Manage supervisors, operators, drivers, and ground staff. • Ensure training on SOPs, safety, PPE usage, and compliance. • Drive discipline, productivity, and performance management.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement: • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational and compliance reports. • Identify risks, bottlenecks,
and improvement opportunities. • Escalate issues proactively to the State Head.

Qualification & Experience
- Graduate in Engineering (Mechanical / Environmental / Chemical) or related discipline.
- 7–12 years of experience in waste management, utilities, infrastructure, or government projects.
- Strong hands-on experience in operations, compliance, and people management.
- Fluency in Malayalam is mandatory
Objective: Function as the Business Head for all sanitary waste management projects executed in Kerala. The role carries complete P&L responsibility and is accountable for end-to-end execution covering B2C adoption, logistics, processing & disposal, regulatory compliance, stakeholder management, and people leadership, in line with CKCL tender conditions and service-level obligations
Key Accountabilities
- Business Leadership &P&L Ownership: Full ownership of state-level P&L including revenues, costs, profitability, and cash flows. • Prepare annual business plans, budgets, capex forecasts, and growth roadmaps aligned to CKCL contracts. • Identify opportunities for expansion, optimization, and additional service offerings.
- Marketing, B2C Adoption & Awareness: Drive branding, awareness campaigns, and adoption of mobile applications for household sanitary waste collection.
• Work closely with LSGIs, RWAs, institutions, and community bodies to increase coverage and participation. • Monitor customer acquisition, complaint resolution, and service satisfaction metrics. - Collection, Logistics & Transportation Oversight: • Oversee end-to-end collection of sanitary waste from households across districts/clusters. • Ensure adequate deployment of vehicles, GPS-enabled tracking, route optimization, and manpower planning. • Ensure safe handling, storage, and transportation of sanitary waste to designated facilities.
- Processing & Disposal Operations: Overall responsibility for operations of incinerators and other treatment/disposal facilities across the state. • Ensure plants operate as per tender technical specifications, approved capacities, and environmental norms. • Drive operational efficiency, uptime, preventive maintenance, and cost optimization.
- Regulatory Compliance & Environmental Management: • Ensure 100% compliance with Biomedical Waste Management Rules, CPCB guidelines, KSPCB norms, and CKCL contract conditions. • Lead statutory reporting, audits, inspections, and renewal of consents and authorizations. • Ensure environmental safeguards, emissions control, and safety standards at all facilities.
- Stakeholder & Government Liaison: • Act as the primary interface with CKCL, Suchitwa Mission, Municipal Corporations, Panchayats, and Pollution Control Board. • Manage contract reviews, grievance redressal, and coordination meetings with government authorities. • Represent the organization in public forums and review committees.
- People Leadership & Capability Building: • Lead and mentor Project Heads, Operations Managers, and support teams. • Drive performance management, training, safety culture, and leadership development. • Build a strong compliance-driven and customer-focused organizational culture.

- Fluency in Malayalam is mandatory
Objective:Accountable for full P&L ownership, operational excellence, business growth, regulatory compliance, and overall site performance to ensure sustainable business continuity
Key Accountabilities
- Prepare, communicate, and monitor the annual budget for the assignedsite(s)
- Plan and optimize resource utilization and workforce management across the site(s)
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives targeting significant savings in person-days, production costs, raw material usage, and energy consumption.
- Establish and maintain effective liaison with external stakeholders, including professional bodies, business partners, financial institutions, and government authorities relevant to operations.
- Manage key stakeholders, including MPPCB, CPCB, MOEF&CC, and other regulatory bodies.

Objective:Responsible for Business Development, Project Sales
Key Accountabilities
- Should have a sound knowledge of the Industrial / municipal Water Treatment and Wastewater treatment domain to spot business opportunities and develop leads and convert them into Projects
- Should be experienced in approaching Municipal bodies, Corporates, Consultants and EPC Companies, IDC’s, SEZ’s, etc.
- Create a good deal flow to choose good Projects
- Should be able to conduct extensive market research / Tender Tracking /Opportunity search – experience in securing EPC & DBFOT and O&M projects
- Interface with Tendering / Proposals / Estimation Team on cost estimation and budget – and take decisions on Pricing / Bid Price Negotiating the commercial documents with counterparts
- Ability to develop Strategic Partnerships – JV’s and Consortium Agreements
- Maintain good relations with customers, statutory organizations like CPCB, State PCB’s, Nodal Energy Agencies, etc

- Compost & Organic Manure Production:
• Oversee the entire production process of compost and fermented organic manure (powder & liquid) at the site.
• Ensure adherence to established composting and fermentation techniques to achieve high-quality outputs.
• Optimize production processes to maximize yield and minimize waste. - Quality Monitoring:
• Conduct regular quality checks and testing of compost and organic manure to meet industry and environmental standards.
• Maintain detailed records of quality assessments and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to improve production consistency and ensure compliance with certifications and regulations. - Departmental Approvals & Liaison:
